• How will I look after Profhilo treatment?

  Profhilo should improve the look of your facial skin. It will add volume, restoring the plumper, smoother, tighter skin associated with youth. You will look refreshed, rested, and altogether a few years younger.

• Is Profhilo treatment safe?

  This is an extremely safe treatment, when administered by one of our highly experienced practitioners. The substance injected is hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in the body, and is often described as the glue that holds our joints and bones in place. This treatment is simply introducing more of it into the body to replace reserves that have been lost as output decreases due to ageing.

• How many treatments will I need?

  Unlike fillers, where you have one treatment until a top up is required, you may need several sessions to reach optimal results. Typically you’ll have two per month, until peak results are visible. The length of your treatment plan will be discussed when you visit us for your consultation.

• Will I see the results immediately?

  Unlike fillers, there will be a delay before you can see the results of your Profhilo treatment. It takes a few weeks for increased collagen production to be stimulated. You should notice a difference after your second session, plus these results will keep improving, and keep turning the clock back, until you look younger and more refreshed.

• How long will the results last?

  The results of your initial treatment sessions should last for 6 months, but you can continue to book top up treatment sessions to maintain your new look.

• Is Profhilo the same as dermal fillers?

  Both injectables contain hyaluronic acid, but in different concentrations, which affects how they disperse under the skin once injected. With Profhilo, the hyaluronic acid spreads across a greater distance, offering a subtler effect, and potentially a more convincingly natural-looking rejuvenation.
