The appearance of this skin is traditionally refreshed via a surgical blepharoplasty procedure, but the downtime and risky side effects of this are off-putting to many.
However, thanks to innovative plasma technology, it’s now possible to have a non-surgical eye-lift with no downtime and no scarring, as no stitches will be necessary. The Plasma BT device is approved only to be used by surgeons, so medically, you couldn’t be safer. It won’t even touch your skin. Instead, it will be held close to the area of skin laxity around the eye that you wish to target, where it will ionise gases in the air to painlessly tighten and contract skin fibres. What does a non-surgical eye lift involve?
A non-surgical eye lift is performed using a plasma BT device. This heats target skin tissue to stimulate the body’s natural skin repair response and create fresher, tighter skin tissue to replace the sagging skin around your eyes. It works by ionising gases in the air in the gap between the device’s tip and your skin, to create a small electrical arc. Your skin fibres will contract and tighten as a result, providing you with tighter eyelids.

How does the treatment feel?
The device won’t actually touch your skin, but you may feel some of the heat delivered by it. The procedure won’t hurt, as a numbing cream will be applied beforehand to ensure you’re entirely comfortable.

How many treatments will I need?
To achieve the beauty goals you want, more than one treatment session may be necessary. We’ll draw up a bespoke treatment plan, relevant to what you hope to achieve, when you visit us for your one-to-one consultation beforehand.

Is the treatment safe?
Compared to a surgical procedure, an eye-lift performed via our Plasma BT machine is a very low risk treatment. The device is licensed to be used by surgeons only, so you’ll be in the safe hands of a very experienced medical professional.

Are there any side effects?
There may be some mild swelling and itching immediately after treatment, which will subside very quickly. Additionally we would expect some mild scabbing to form. The scabbing should be gone after 5-7 days.
